I started getting acne when I was about 13, 14 years old. I’m now 17 and over the years I’ve been given numerous medication such as Retin-A Micro, Benacyclin, Tetrycyclin, some pills that I cannot remember the name of, and also some pads called Tazorac or something like that. The Benacyclin helped a little with stopping breakouts but, it didn’t help my scarring. My dermatologist mentioned Accutane as a suitable treatment for me but, I didn’t want that because I’ve heard it doesn’t get rid of scarring. I went a few weeks ago and had microdermabrasion done and I’ve been on a 3 step system called Obagi for a month now but, I don’t really see any results. I am supposed to have about 5 more microdermabrasion sessions and they said maybe a chemical peel. My question is: Should I go on Accutane or continue the microdermabrasion? I want to keep my acne under control but, get RID of scars too; home remedies do not work for me.
hy im interested in microdermabrasion
the tazorac is good i have like a year with it but it doeant do anything for my enlarged pores and blackheads
the only thing tazorac does is it helps me from not break out so much
i want to know if i have to stop my tazorac in order to get micro done?
any one on taz while microdermabrating
how much yal payed and how many treatments did yal take
What can it do? i am really pissed at my acne and nothing is working. i have been too a few dermatologists who made my skin hurt but not clear. then they gave me a pill that didn’t touch my acne. I HAVE TRIED PROACTIV. it didn’t do crap. I’m not angry just frustrated and I am not stressed over anything. the only thing i haven’t tried are pills other than triclyn ( the bc pill for acne) and im not allowed to take accutane nor do I want to. suggestions please? What damage could glue do? i have pale skin and i have tried microdermabrasion and facials. they leave my face red for a looooong time
i tried each product for MONTHS. and i have tried differen tazorac, benzaclin, you name it. i have tried it. i have gotten my friends’ acne under control, but i cant do mine
